“Like a memory. Of roses dipped in spun sugar, pressed between my favorite pages of a book.”
Lex & Belren are everything. Belren was totally charming and Lex was so relatable - especially if you’re a person that struggles with anxiety. I love this story so much & devoured it in one day. It’s a bit of an emotional roller coaster but in the best possible way; I couldn’t believe how easily I was shifting between laughing, crying, swooning. I truly hope there are more Cupidity stories in the future. Sev would be great, or even Jerkahf (lol) or Raziel.
If you’re wondering what the 🌶 level is like, it’s very in line with previous books in this series. Bit of a slow burn as you’re introduced (or re-introduced) to the MCs and this story line, and it’s done with pure expertise. The romantic tension build-up was spot on & felt very organic.
