For someone trying to research whether a factoid is true these days, it’s too easy to slip into the pit of an information bubble that contains enough corroborating factoids to make one think they’ve found a solid, true fact. With the emergence of AI in print, images, and now video, I’m afraid that the factoid bubble phenomenon will spin out of control until none of us has any hope of knowing anything that’s actually true anymore. Plenty of inspiration for us post-apoc writers, though.”
