"The beginning was promising! I was hooked in wanting to learn more about this dystopian world and these characters, but half way through I’m realizing that this is probably as much as we’re going to get as far as character depth and world building and it’s way too shallow. Suddenly I’m supposed to feel all this empathy and anger, but I’m not. The romance part is SO shallow too. Probably will not finish." — Apr 20, 2026 08:03AM
