"The Running Man:
Virginia has that “Toxic Boy Mom” vibe of our 2025 - & a bit of Mrs. Bates.
Two allies down, Ben’s taking hostages now. Amelia is annoying & clearly in denial when faced with reality rather than the Free-Vee lies she’s been brainwashed to believe. Ben’s brief rape fantasy hurts his character.
Smart move getting the press & public eyes on the cops so they won’t kill the hostage." — Oct 21, 2025 08:03PM

"I’m glad we’re finally starting to hold some police officers accountable for their lethal brutality - not nearly enough but it’s a bit more than the extremely limited legal recourse victims from past decades had. The cases described are disgustingly similar to far too many recent cases that have not received the justice they deserve. We still have a long way to go & a very corrupt system to dismantle." — Aug 05, 2021 10:28PM

“Show me a man or a woman alone and I'll show you a saint. Give me two and they'll fall in love. Give me three and they'll invent the charming thing we call 'society'. Give me four and they'll build a pyramid. Give me five and they'll make one an outcast. Give me six and they'll reinvent prejudice. Give me seven and in seven years they'll reinvent warfare. Man may have been made in the image of God, but human society was made in the image of His opposite number, and is always trying to get back home.”

“So please, oh please, we beg, we pray,
Go throw your TV set away,
And in its place you can install
A lovely bookshelf on the wall.
Then fill the shelves with lots of books.”
