The prophecy was made by a different village of cats called the tribe cats, that live in the mountains. The prophecy relates to a problem that the tribe cat have been having with a mountain lion they call sharp tooth that slaughters there cats. It said that Bramble Claw who is one of the clan cats would save the tribe cats from this sharp tooth. The tribe cats have different ways which fascinates the group of clan cats. Then once the tribe cats had there trust they basically imprisoned Bramble Claw so when sharp tooth came he would be there. But the other clan cats didn't like that so they devised a plan to break him out. When the night came for them to break him out it happen to be the same night sharp tooth went to the tribe for a midnight snack but sum how they managed to get him out without any casualties.

I am on page 212. And in the paragraphs that I have read since we left off the book has switched from the group of cats that are away from the forest to a thunder clan cat in the forest named leaf paw witch it often dose from chapter to chapter. This gets to be pretty confusing but also fun because this way there is almost never a slow part of the book! Now because of two leg (human) presence in the forest prey is scarce and the forest is in danger of being cut down. This is why bramble claw and the others went on that journey in the first place. To save the forest! In the story leaf paw and cinder pelt (who I fined ironic that she's a medicine cat with a healed up funny leg) were talking and they decided to trough out any rabbits because they heard that the rabbits were killing cats who ate them in other tribes. So as leaf paw was rolling the rabbit out of the camp one the elders saw them and didn't believe what she herd and forcefully ate a good portion of the rabbit. I knew sum thing like that was going to happen from the start especially since there's a shortage of food. Later on leaf pelt went out to gather herbs but found herself saving a river clan warriors life which I thought was awesome and of course the elder cat that earlier ate the rabbit sadly died as expected :( .

I am on page 232 And since we left off I had finished a chapter so the book switched points of view again back to the group of clan cats in the mountain. What happend was after they escaped bramble claw was feeling extremely betrayed so they talked for a wile about that which was kinda boring but it didn't last long. Finally at the end of the chapter they fined a small rabbit borrow in which they take shelter former the rain that happend to be falling on the night of there escape. What I found interesting is that as they were entering the rabbit borrow they said they smelt tribe cat sent but they went in eny way. Now my question is that they had just escaped from the tribe cats why would they risk it? So as I had predicted there were tribe cats in there and they traped them inside. What I had not predicted is that something was off about these tribe cats. After some talking the odd tribe cats explained that they were 3 of 6 cats sent to kill sharp tooth the other 3 had parished in the fight. They were living in the rabbit borrow becouse they were told to come back with the pet of the monster or not at all. This reminded me of the famose spartan saying come back with your shield or on it. Now rewinding a paragraph becouse I combineded the 1 1/2 paragraphs that I read about the group of clan cats to make it easier to read. Back at camp with leaf paw I would love to say everything is better now but it's actually the exact opposite. More despair followed the death of Dappletail. 2 more cats have gone missing in thunder clan; Cloudtail and Brightheart. Then right as you thought the worst was over Larchkit one of Ferncloud's kits died becouse Ferncloud wasn't producing enough milk do to her lack of food. This made me sad so then I went to my kitchen and after drinking a glass of milk I felt better.

Revew 4: I am on page 245 and now after getting to know the clan cats they can do whatever they want, go or stay. I think these mountain cats get to attached to things or they just like holding cats against there will because both times the clan cats have met up with these tribe cats they have basically imprisoned them. After they were freed they chose to stay. I found this odd because why would you choose to stay with someone that had detained you from leaving? These are the reasons I think they stayed. First of all they didn't keep them for that long which is a plus compared to the last group of cats they were with. Second of all they kinda got to know Talon and the other two cats so they probably felt safer with them and finally third of all they were vary tired and needed a safe place to rest and hunt. So after hunting they came back to talon and them and shared fresh kill as a thanks to talon for letting them free. After eating Stormfur falls asleep and has a dream in which him and his mother (which he doesn't recognize at first because she died giving birth to him) talk and in my words she basically tells home that questions have many answers which inspires him to go back and fight sharptooth. I think he should have probably done this earlier but they did trick and imprison him so I can see why he didn't. ...more "
