This essay is, as is this book, such a system, meaning a) a scheme, b) a comprehensive and methodically arranged survey of a subject, and c) a set of persons working together as parts of an interconnecting network.

As you can tell from my short review, I did not find the arrangement to be the strongest component, unless you think of arrangement as a kind of pastiche or bricolage. There is some method to the arrangement, but I found it challenging to follow intuitively.
