“The lure of never paying taxes is very strong. People will subscribe to any scheme, no matter how convoluted it is.”
Even today people dodge paying tax. Trying to get work paid under the table but in reality all they’re doing is cheating themselves in the long run. Taxes are a necessary evil, we need them to fund our roads, schools, hospitals etc and anyone that thinks they’re not needed is delusional in my opinion.
