this series single-handedly stole my breath away, including my heart. the romance, the plot, the trauma, the relationships, the friendships are all so beautifully developed and written. there were moments in this book where i'm whole heartedly laughing out loud, parts where my heart silently aches for the characters, and times where i'm swooning over sweet moments. though this might be a huge book, it was worth it all. if i could reread one book for the rest of my life, i think it would be this. if i could rate this a million stars, i would in a heartbeat, without a doubt.

johnny kavanagh. just him. only him. always him. he's everything i could ask for. he's everything shannon deserves and more. he's the sweetest book boyfriend ever and everything he says is so protective and reassuring it makes my heart so full. his relationship with shannon's younger brother just shows how much he's willing to give, how great of a person he is. him and sean are the cutest ever, i can't help but imagine what he'd be like when he has kids of his own. and the biggest plot twist of them all, the night he went to save the lynch siblings - god what if he hadn't been there. i don't even want to think about it. he's everyone's hero, even tadhg is growing on him. i'm so so proud of him and his rugby career. he makes me the happiest ever seen him shine, just like johnny if you're reading this, please send me your jersey so i can cheer you on alongside with shannon.

joey lynch. my heart broke for him. he's so strong and i just wished he got a better childhood. on the outside, he acts like the big older brother, mustering up all the courage and energy to defend his siblings with his life. but on the inside, he's deteriorating, mentally and physically. the night he snapped, a part of me died too. and oh my god aoefie. i couldn't have imagined anyone better for joey. she will be the one to save him ( saving 6 - im beyond excited for that book ) joey and aoefie's relationship is so much deeper, tangled in secrets and trauma which we'll definitely uncover in their book. also chloe said that saving 6 is so sad that binding 13 and keeping 13 pales in comparison. i'm terrified, literally so freaking scared.

shannon lynch. the strongest and sweetest girl ever. god where do i even begin to confess my love to you. i might even have to take you away from johnny and keep you myself. i'm so so sorry about what happened to you, but i know you're in good hands with the kavanagh's and they're treatly you immensely well. it makes my heart swell with contentment to see the family dynamic you should've been given. but instead you got a horrible father with an equally guilty mother ( though i do feel some remorse for her ) we all love you shannon, don't you ever forget that. joey loves you, claire loves you, lizzy loves you, and crap gibsie's practically obsessed with you because you're his you have such a big heart and i'm so glad you stood up against bella. she had no business being so obnoxious and rude. her jealousy is overwhelmingly ugly and she deserves the worst of the worst punishment. i'm glad you're happy with your life now, and i hope it continues to stay that way.

lord, everything this man says is hilarious. like johnny said, i know that's how he copes but his sense of humor is unmatched. he is hands down the most effortlessly funny character i've ever read of. the bromance with johnny is the best of the best. it simply cannot get any better. the banter they have is written to the point of perfection. don't even get me started on him and claire because i won't ever stop. they need to stop the bickering ( just kidding ) and get together this instant before i lose my mind. and that one that claire was mocking hughie having his little session with katie - i was cackling. her and gibsie are literally in love with each other but the miscommunication and doubts are keeping them away. i can't wait for their book, taming 7. god that's such a perfect title for the two of them. gibsie is my favorite character of this series, i don't care what anyone says.

also can we talk about mrs. and mr. kavanagh? please adopt me right now. ...more "
