"after years of attempting to read this book and having to put it down because i felt a sense of dread in my stomach from finally being seen, i am glad to say that i am proud to be who i am. i have come a long way- and reading this is letting myself give peace to the me of the past with (many!) nights of crying about feeling “broken” in a society who is built on compulsory sexuality.
