"Though I’m not very far into this book, I am already enamoured by the narrative voice. Dowell reminds me of myself and the way I wrote in the aftermath of a personal tragedy. A little maudlin, but that’s alright. Some of my favourite books were written by whiny, upper-class white men, after all." Jul 01, 2022 05:43PM
