"Finished the first of 3 books and I think I have to put this down for now. I don’t really have anything positive to say so far. The insistence on changing pov chapter by chapter slows the pacing to a near intolerable level. A significant portion of the 300+ pages were taken up by long, clumsy expository flashbacks.
