The book starts with him in a high security mental asylum where he eventually escapes from because of the help of a nurse who had fallen in love with him. He knew he had been put in there by his government but he had no idea why or who he was. He did not remember his face, and all his childhood records seemed to have been broken. They were gone.
This book is an amazing story about a man who has lost it all and proceeds to take it all back. Robert Ludlum poses many questions in this book and makes sure the reader is very reluctant to put the book down. An incredible read, highly recommended!...more

No spec of information is left unsaid and Dumas does a great job of painting clear pictures in the readers' heads.
Having said that, I will be switching to another book because of the levels of complex language found in this book....more
