"It's been a while since I last read these volumes, and I have been thinking about rereading the series for a while. So far, it's as good as I remember it being. Though I do think the later end of East Blue is better than the early section. I think this might be because the crew is bigger and they work really well with one another." Aug 24, 2025 02:08PM

"The First chapter down and it interesting so far, I will have to keep reading to see how it goes. So far, no idea of what the overall story is yet and Geralt is not that developed yet." Aug 03, 2025 03:46PM

"A good way into the Dance of the Dragon and I have read a little bit ahead of where I am. I already know a little bit about how this all end and I'm more curious what comes next." Jul 20, 2025 02:47PM

“You came to me asking how my faith survived the Day of Judgement. I will tell you a secret. When the stars fell, when the seas boiled and the earth burned, my faith didn’t die. That is when I began to believe.

God was real, and he hated us.”
Aaron Dembski-Bowden, The First Heretic

“This is your chance to speak,' he said to Vecchiaz. 'Use it well.'
'What are your terms?' Vecchiaz asked.
'There are none.'
Another pause, a confused one this time. 'I don't understand.'
'I spoke clearly,' said Mortarion. 'I will repeat myself. There are no terms.'
'But we wish to surrender.'
'You can't.'
'But we no longer wish to fight you.'
'That was never your choice. I came to destroy you. What you do in response to that is up to you. It is no concern of mine.”
David Annandale, Mortarion: The Pale King

“You’ll scream just as he did,’ Xarl said with a smile.

The Champion showed no reaction. He didn’t even move. ‘I knew that warrior,’ he said with
solemn care. ‘He was Caleus, born of Newfound, and I know he died as he lived: with courage,
honour, and knowing no fear.’

Xarl swept his chainsword across the scene, gesturing at the prone forms of First Claw. ‘I know all
of these warriors. They are First Claw, and I know they’ll die as they lived: trying to run away.”
Aaron Dembski-Bowden, Void Stalker
