I would never want to make her feel uncomfortable by letting her think that I view her with anything other than paternal fondness.
Strange how theirs been 4 female characters introduced in this book so far and he’s liked 3 of them???? And one was his mom? That he was upset about her going off to live with a new man because he selfishly believes that his mom should be with his dad. Like he views her as his mother only his mother and not as a woman. He literally has not had a single platonic thought about a woman so far.
