"Love the imagery in this book. The protagonist was in an accident that killed his wife. When he finally comes home from the hospital, her garden is dead but vines have begun to climb up the walls of the empty house. The contrast of life and death, the idea of the “wrong kind of growth”, the fragility of the beautiful flowers … ah it’s all just so well presented" — Feb 04, 2026 11:19PM

"Technically on pg74 but just finished my detour at Johnny’s mothers’ letters and all I can say is YEESH. That was freakier than anything that’s been described so far in Zampano or Johnny’s writings.
Also loved the detail of Daisy wanting to play a game called “always”, which could’ve been her mispronouncing “hallways.” Creeeeeepy." — Jan 16, 2026 12:52AM

“We are the middle children of history. Born too late to explore earth, born too early to explore space.”
