"I think I'll stop reading this book for now. I never knew that the book has "that thing". It's still a sensitive topic for me. I wish I knew that "the thing" was in this book, in fact it seems like "the thing" is the main theme of this book. If I knew, I wouldn't buy the book. I wouldn't even touch it. I don't know if I will continue reading this book, but for now, I just can't." Apr 24, 2016 08:36AM

"But you don't have-" Percy stopped. "Uh, sure."
He stood next to the armless statue. Terminus conducted a rigorous mental pat down.
"You seem to be clean," Terminus decided. "Do you have anything to declare?"
"Yes," Percy said. "I declare that this is stupid.”

“Annabeth's face, her blond hair and gray eyes, the way she laughed, threw her arms around him, and gave him a kiss whenever he did something stupid.
She must have kissed me a lot, Percy thought.”

“Are you, are you coming to the tree?
Wear a necklace of rope, side by side with me.
Strange things did happen here.
No stranger would let it be if we met up
At midnight in the hanging tree.”

“You're a painter. You're a baker. You like to sleep with the windows open. You never take sugar in your tea. And you always double-knot your shoelaces.”
