In the book Just David, there are many people who David meets. He met Ms. Holbrook, Jack, Jill, a few boys in a village, and Mrs. and Mr. Holly. David is a little boy in the 1800's and is (in my opinion) the nicest person in the book. He shares and teaches his kindness to most of the people he meets. I wonder if David has been taught to be nice and kind from his dad. His dad died, so, maybe he is just trying to do his best to be like his dad. In the end, David is a happy kid and has happy friends and a new place to stay since he doesn't have a family....more
