"this is forster’s 2nd novel, that everybody seems to be shitting on. im enjoying it so far, but in complete honesty, it is weaker than his other novels i’ve read. although i enjoy the dynamic between rickie and ansell, both of them are kinda pretentious imo, and the philosophy they discuss is weak. on the other hand i love rickie’s obsession with aesthetics and his over-emotional thinking." — Jul 05, 2026 01:02PM
