if you know anything about me, you know that i love throne of glass. i have read this book four times now, and i still have as big of a place in my heart for this series as i did the first time that i read it. i mean, the quote i put above was my senior quote and i wrote an entire FRQ on the ap lit exam about kindgom of ash.. so safe to say its clear that i absolutely love this series.

i think what i really focused on this time around when i was reading was the simplicity of this book. i just love getting to dive back into the innocent and simple friendship between celeana, dorian, and chaol. its such a relief and a breath of fresh air, especially on a reread and knowing what happens in the rest of the series. yes, there are still some small traumatic things happening but compared to the rest of the series, this book is just so happy and its like coming home and hugging your friends. the vibe of yulemas, the balls, the competition, and just the inexperience and youthfulness to all of my favorite characters makes me so happy even though they have no clue what storm is coming.

i could definitely say so much more but i think i've ranted and raved about this book so much already that you're probably sick of it... but keep reading to see my reviews from the other times ive read tog! SPOILERS AHEAD THOUGH!!!
