Between 1969 and 1972 Sandy Mathes used the term "bug" and "feature" in her reporting to distinguish between undocumented actions of delivered software products that were unacceptable and tolerable, respectively. Later it would be used by Todd Howard, CEO of Bethesda, which immediately became a meme with their gaming community as Bethesda is known for their game-breaking bugs.
