The romance unfolds as a slow-burning, second-chance love story (iykyk), full of yearning and banter. Meanwhile, the plot is layered and suspenseful, with so many moving pieces that I found myself eager for answers at every turn. While the pacing starts off a bit slow, it quickly finds its rhythm and holds your attention through to the end.
Brittney Arena has truly solidified herself as a great romantasy author, and I look forward to the next story she has in the works.
Started on 03/21 for future me :)
Thank you to the author and NetGalley for providing me with an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review....more
