This is who Jesus is. This is one of the only parts of this book that I agreed with what Shannon had to say. Jesus is love and He showed that to those He came in contact with. He shows that to us today when we allow Him into our life. Based on the things that the author said in her book, she doesn’t have that relationship with Him. I am not saying that in a judging way because I pray that she does come to know Him, but I am afraid that she has seen only the legalistic side of church and the patriarchy of religion rather than the God of love and grace and mercy that my church teaches and who I have a personal relationship.
