"I grew up on parts of the Bible but I never did read it in full. I am tired of not being educated on religious matters, because it makes me feel like I’m just speaking from a place of assumption. I am reading the Bible and the Qur‘ān both now to paint a clear picture in my mind of the Abrahamic faiths and become more knowledgeable on the distinctions between them. I might read Torah in the future too." — Apr 04, 2026 10:48PM

"After a long introductory section to the text, I am diving into the scripture. The setup and structure of the Qur‘ān are both very clear. I heard that it should read “like a mirror to the soul“, providing comfort for those who believe and discomfort for those who don’t. I do have to admit that some verse are formulated crassly, and some verses make me uncomfortable. But I do enjoy the insight so far." — Apr 04, 2026 10:46PM

I miss you more than I remember you.”

“You once told me that the human eye is god's loneliest creation. How so much of the world passes through the pupil and still it holds nothing. The eye, alone in its socket, doesn't even know there's another one, just like it, an inch away, just as hungry, as empty.”

“Because the sunset, like survival, exists only on the verge of its own disappearing. To be gorgeous, you must first be seen, but to be seen allows you to be hunted.”
