The machine in Gansey’s hands blinked red constantly, only flickering to orange when they stepped too far away from the invisible line.
“Thanks for coming, Jane,” Gansey said.
Blue shot him a dirty look. “You’re welcome, Dick.”
He looked pained. “Please don’t.”
