“أذكر يوم وفاة (إبراهيم) ابن الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم ، حدث خسوف شمسي ، فتصايح المسلمون أن الشمس حزينة للوفاة .. سمع الرسول هذا فغضب غضبةً عظيمة ، وخرج إلى الناس ليقول لهم في حزم ووضوح :

كان بوسعه صلى الله عليه وسلم أن ينسب الخسوف إلى وفاة ابنه .. وكان المسلمون سيصدقونه ، لكنه أبى إلا أن ينفي وجود ارتباط لأنه - ببساطة - لم يكن هناك ارتباط ! واليوم يخرج المرء منا من بيته ليجد السماء غائمة ، فيوقن أن مصيبةً ستحدث له اليوم .. كأنه من الأهمية إلى حد أن الشمس شخصياً تقرر أن تتوارى لتنذره هو وحده !”
