"I feel like I've overlooked the symbols shamelessly. I know they're there, I just- kinda- forget they're there. I need to collect more quotes and scenes related to the symbolism, it's a key tool that is assured to score me some points if I mention it in the essays.
The rope and worms seem to be the only ones, and they relate to parenting, children and safety, and maybe environmental destruction. I need to be smart."
