All the characters sound like robots making observances of what is happening. They don't sound like human beings having a real conversation. Maybe this is Kafka's style. Each line feels information dense, like I'll miss something if I get distracted for a second.

"I slogged through a couple more pages and FINALLY this grandson of Prince Genji guy stands somewhere and crosses his arms and starts having thoughts. Three to be exact. When I said something better happen soon, I didn't exactly mean a man having three thoughts and crossing his arms and it definitely didn't happen soon cuz it took 6 chapters.
