"I don't think I've ever been so quickly annoyed by a main character. The author seems to be reaching for relatability by making her a reader, but it's had the opposite effect.. she's insufferable. Her constant narration about lacking a "tragic backstory" and viewing everyone as fictional characters has me rolling my eyes.
