As a teen, it was about revenge. I wanted people to be sad I was dead. As an adult, I was not worried about anyone else. I just wanted an exit.
it’s a weird moment to go thru. as a teen you say “hey well at least i won’t be such a burden anymore” but as an adult i think “omg i couldn’t imagine having all these burdens plus a 14 yr old suicidal maniac to take care of too”
