Let me start by saying that Man On is my fist book from Rebecca. After reading Man on, I will continue reading her because OMG! This book was not what I was expecting at all but I was pleasantly surprised. This book has so much depth and emotions and lovable characters.

I love a broken boy! My sweet broken and strong Lane went through a lot in his life. The meaning behind his name is so heart breaking but such a beautiful tribute. He isn't broken at all, he is strong and just had to re learn an entire new world when he was sent to live with his mother after living with his grandfather. A grandfather who was a leader at a extremely religious cult. Entering the real world at the age of 14. That is 14 years of being isolated from reality and being taught that who you are and who you love might not be what God approves. A lot happened in this cult that just broke my heart. When Lane moved in with his mom, who was also a part of the cult and a victim. He had a very hard time adjusting and learning or enjoying simple everyday thing like enjoying pizza. This is also where he meets his pain in the ass stepbrother, Noah. Noah, who made it his mission to get under his skin.

Noah! I love Noah so much. He is a strong force, a lovable force. Understanding his apprehension when he learned his stepbrother was going to move in with them. A stepbrother who he saw as this untouchable being, a perfect being. Found himself with something pulling him towards Lane after a kiss their shared at a soccer camp. Both growing up and going through high school to college hating each other.

when Noah and Lane are forced to share a dorm room in college, everything start to fall into place as they both start to learn about each other. Noah starts to really understand why Lane is the way he is when his past is slowly being revealed to him. Lane starts to lean on Noah because he feels this peace when he's around and its only with him that he feels safe.

I loved the two so much and they way they both lean on each other for support. When they both accepted who they were and fell into each other OMG!! it was so hot! some of the thing Noah did to Lane left me BLUSHING!!! I loved them!

I was truly impressed with the author and bringing this story to life and giving a voice to the reality of conversion therapy and human rights.
