Remus released a breath; the joy glowed on his face, blindingly bright. Yet Sirius didn’t think he could look away, even if he wanted to.
“You promise?” He breathed, bringing a hand up to cradle Sirius’s face, thumb stroking across his jaw. Sirius leaned into the touch.
“I promise,” he said.”
