"chapter 3!

edit bc last chapter was actually chapter 2. this chapter was all about drawing meaningful inferences from usually undeterminable underlying probability distributions. we learned about moments to characterize these dists, how uncertainty propagates, covariance matrices, boostrapping, & the law of total variance. my fave was proving how precision increases with 1/sqrt(N) !! fundamental for observations" — Feb 09, 2026 01:08PM
