Embracing the idea that you can want things for yourself even if nobody else understands the whys behind them is the most freeing and powerful feeling in the world.
Being able to realize that I don’t have to do anything for anyone else, I’m doing this for me. Growing up it was the approval by my parents mindset. But over the years I’ve realized the only person I need to prove myself to is myself.
