He gave a more balanced view of Henry VIII. For all Henry’s faults, he didn’t touch the liturgy, one of his few redeeming acts (or non-act). He started a “church” but he didn’t create a new liturgy which is fascinating. The Common Book of Prayer came after he died." — 4 hours, 41 min ago
