"Faith and Reason is a make-or-break issue for a prolegomena, and Putman acquits himself well with a measured "faith seeking understanding" approach. He could have defined "reason" more clearly, but he generally appeals to it as a faculty more than an extant body of knowledge (thankfully). Relating reason to notia was a good touch.
