An interesting look inside the beginning days of the second world war. Since my father was a Marine who spent time in combat during that conflict, it gave me more insight into what his war time years would have been like. He refused to speak about them, which is also true of my father-in-law, another brave and conflict-surviving Marine who served during the same war.
