Picture a minimum security prison in Otis New York, populated by a relatively well educated group of liars, embezzlers & fraudsters putting in their minimum time while holding daily Minyans and dining well on traditional food excellently prepared by master chef Dimitri. There are hints of Michael Cohen in attendance, one is never sure. The 45th, the greatest fraudster of all, lurks.
It is funny, suspenseful, satisfying, all altogether a m’chayah.
If you now feel officially left out, not sure who the hell this tribe is, this book might not be for you. But…if you own a Yiddishkeit cap, pop it on and you will have a blast.
