"Picked up at the KPBS book fair today at USD. Have been looking for more stories by Filipino authors and I just happen to stumble on the authors' booth. He took the myths and legends of different parts of the Philippines and created his own universe. This book, in particular, is his "Silmarillion", so I figure it's a good place to start.
