"Only in the beginning & already dreading reading the rest, esp since seeing the genuine 1-2 star ratings. Knowing the context of this book but now knowing they justify a rape scene in this puts a very bitter taste on my tongue. Unsure how there are so many 5 stars but I have a long way to go. "Trying to push through the lack of understanding (even going from book 2 immediately to 3) and plot holes actually makes me want to pull out my hair & rip my limbs off to the point I’ve shelved it until the last 2 are out.
