Got 19% into the book and just wasn't into it. I do like historical fiction, but this didn't do it for me. When I don't look forward to reading the book you have to make a decision as to whether to finish it or put it on a shelf.

Love this author. I have read many of his books. While I did like the writing here, I just wasn't into Mungo. First part when he was setting the book up was more depressing than his others. Found myself not wanting to finish it so I traded it in.
