"carl sagan describes in chapter 1 how he meets a man who’s driving him to an event and he asks if he can ask him a few questions about science, and he says yes. the man goes on to ask questions about pseudoscience and sagan highlights how people can be really smart/well-read but are misled by popular media because often science is much less exciting and i already feel like everyone needs to read this book" Sep 14, 2025 01:50PM
