That Night in Prague; 5/5: Enjoyable and well-written story. I truly wish it was longer! The dynamic between Avery and Jameson whilst solving the other’s puzzle throughout the city of Prague was perfect.

The Same Backward as Forward; 6/5: Wow. Just wow (huh, palindromes- fancy that {IYKYK}). When I thought that “That Night in Prague” was well-written, JLB takes it even further and writes this masterpiece. The dynamic between Hannah/Sarah and Toby/Harry was VERY reminiscent of the dynamic between Avery and Jameson, which I love. And that ending……….

The Cowboy and the Goth; 5/5: Quick, enjoyable, and sweet story detailing a few events from Libby’s perspective. I liked getting to read how Libby handled the changes that came with becoming an honorary Hawthorne (and then a real one). I could even go for a novella from Libby’s perspective. And yet again, JLB pulls off a great ending that makes me wish there was more!

Five Times Xander Tackled Someone (& The One Time He Didn’t); 4/5: Quick story detailing Xander and his relationships with his brothers and friends. While it was good, I didn’t enjoy it nearly as much as the other stories in this collection.

One Hawthorne Night; 5/5: This one had me laughing the entire time! It was absolutely hilarious to see Grayson’s reactions to the penances his brothers had planned.

$3CR3T $@NT@; 5/5: I loved this one! It was so fun to see the Christmas traditions of the Hawthorne brothers. It is very clear that JLB thought out what gifts would be given to which players by their “$3CR3T $@NT@“. Each gift given was truly perfect!

What Happens in the Tree House; 4/5: Interesting glimpse into what went down the night of Nash’s 911 and the lengths his 3 brothers went to to plan his bachelor party. While it was good, it didn’t blow my mind; however, there were I few times that I couldn’t help but laugh.

Pain At The Right Gun; 5/5: WHY ISN’T THERE MORE!? It has become extremely clear that JLB knows how to execute a cliffhanger ending perfectly. While reading “That Night in Prague”, I was wishing that it would’ve been written from Jameson’s POV instead of Avery’s. Little did I know that JLB was going to make my week and give me both! ...more "
