"A classic of the 90s zeitgeist where psychoanalysis based on and explained by stories and fairytales was really chic and found its way into the mainstream (cf. Iron John by Robert Bly). The first 37 pages were hard to chew. The author seems a bit insufferable and self centered, dishing out platitudes and dramatic generalisations. Now that she actually starts analysing a story it's become much better though." — Oct 21, 2024 04:23AM
