"I'm surprised to say that i'm actually quite enjoying this book?? I do think the romance side is mostly cringe-y, but it's certainly better than the last book! Also, the political depth and nuance presented outside of Violet's perspective is actually really interesting. The themes regarding family are surprisingly wholesome and MUCH better than what I had anticipated from the first book." — May 01, 2026 06:37AM
