"This book is cruel and repetitive but probably intentionally so in both respects. It’s just the same thing every chapter lurid violence move to a new town and repeat. You forget they’re looking for a person named Gomez and I was so bored I looked up if they found him I know I spoiled myself but this book feels like hell and it is hell to the reader because it does not evidently care for your time." — Feb 05, 2026 11:33AM
