"George Smiley is actually a diva:

He hates his boss and begrudgingly goes to this random town outside of London, to interview the wife of this dude everyone thought he drove to his death. After picking up the telephone in her house and assuming it was for him (it was literally just an alarm), he goes and starts a bromance with a policeman and they driving back to London and unanimously decide to turn around."

Gaston Leroux
“He loved her so much that it almost took his breath away.”
Gaston Leroux, The Phantom of the Opera

Charles J. Sykes
“Be nice to nerds. You may end up working for them. We all could.”
Charles J. Sykes, Dumbing Down Our Kids: Why American Children Feel Good About Themselves But Can't Read, Write or Add

Albert Einstein
“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”
Albert Einstein

John Green
“Saying 'I notice you're a nerd' is like saying, 'Hey, I notice that you'd rather be intelligent than be stupid, that you'd rather be thoughtful than be vapid, that you believe that there are things that matter more than the arrest record of Lindsay Lohan. Why is that?' In fact, it seems to me that most contemporary insults are pretty lame. Even 'lame' is kind of lame. Saying 'You're lame' is like saying 'You walk with a limp.' Yeah, whatever, so does 50 Cent, and he's done all right for himself.”
John Green

Albert Einstein
“Never memorize something that you can look up.”
Albert Einstein
