This is insane, I thought. I’m surrounded by insane people, and I’m insane now, too, and I’m gonna die in a Kroger parking lot.

This is my new favorite book. I read in the synopsis that this was cosmic horror but somehow forgot, so the twist and turns in the plot were an actual surprise to me as a long time horror lover. I felt so cheated when I got to the last page and found the story abruptly ended. I really hope there is a sequel.
