The fact that she would’ve let her and her sisters starve just out of spite of her father is ridiculous and not really realistic in my opinion (coming from me as older sister who’s had to be in Feyres position). I don’t like the fact she didn’t finish the Blood Rite with her friends, I feel like it would’ve meant more to the story if all three had finished like the bat boys did all those years ago. I’m glad Nesta had an awakening (even if it was forced upon her), that part of the story was really beautiful. My favorite part about this book is probably the House and how they became friends. I wish we got more of Feyre while she was pregnant. I wish it was established earlier in the book that Nesta and Cassian are mates, and it was just more about Nesta excepting it. It just felt like they liked eachother a lot and was fucking a lot until about 3/4s of the book and then it was very much “matey” feeling. Then randomly it was said like we’ve known it this whole time and it’s like yeah it was hinted a little in the book but it just didn’t feel as genuine as the other books, as genuine as the other mating bonds we’ve encountered. I’m just going to blame it on the fact that the mating bond can reveal itself in random ways and times. I also don’t like that it literally took nesta this whole series including most of the book to become a decent person. If anyone can relate to Nesta (other than her recovery and the way she fucks Cassian) then you need to stay the hell away from me. My friend was just telling me by the end of this book you either love her or you hate her, no in between. But I’m definitely still in between, like yeah she’s becoming a better person and she’s done good things but idk….just as an older sister I just cant fucking relate. All I gotta say is she better not fuck up even once in later books 😭😭 I also think the ending was ssssoooooooo rushed ...more "
