I LOVED how metaphorical the whole book was, how it not only explained many things in the original trilogy but still left you with some mystery… Not only that but with a lot more serious subject matter and a great subplot of romance between Lucy Gray and Coryo… not only that but Coriolanus’s character development was ✨spectacular✨, showing a more vulnerable side of him in the beginning, with a wholesome little life, and then how his thought process changes throughout the book because of outside forces (Dr. Gaul) influencing him, making/shaping him into the tyrant he becomes in the end… I also thought it was cool to see how a dictator becomes a dictator and gave an interesting perspective…I loved the references to poetry and music (two of my favorite things) and all of the 💅ICONIC💅 songs Lucy Gray performs that are just next level amazing 🤩 set to music… sad to see Sejanus die 😢, the ending did feel a bit rushed (but at the same time it makes sense that it was rushed because all the pieces were slowly coming together and woven throughout the book and once all those pieces clicked in place, it seems realistic for it to feel sudden and for there to be a sudden switch), but it was good, and somehow I’ve fallen for Coriolanus while reading and am confused at the end, and the ending left you wanting more… definitely a 6 star read ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️...more
