"I love Tom Wright but I have to be honest this book is very disappointing. It asks some questions in the beginning which I really want answers to, but in the explanations that follow I just have no idea what he is talking about.
I may try to read again I the future but I do not think it will become any clearer what he is trying to say."

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
“The line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either -- but right through every human heart -- and through all human hearts. This line shifts. Inside us, it oscillates with the years. And even within hearts overwhelmed by evil, one small bridgehead of good is retained”
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956

C.S. Lewis
“There is no good trying to be more spiritual than God. God never meant man to be a purely spiritual creature. That is why He uses material things like bread and wine to put the new life into us. We may think this rather crude and unspiritual. God does not: He invented eating. He likes matter. He invented it.”
Clive Staples Lewis
